Before<Before>After<After1>After<After2>Male nose revision surgery, three-month review I had the nasal bridge, hump nose, bulbous nose, and nasolabial angle correction done!
Honestly, after getting nose revision surgery from Dr. Han Dae-hee at the plastic surgery clinic, it was a bit hard until about one month, but around when 4 weeks had passed? There wasn’t anything in daily life that I had to be especially careful about or found uncomfortable! Since I also struggled while researching online and going around for consultations, I thought I absolutely had to write a review for other people to see! Honestly, after the swelling went down, I almost forgot about it and lived without any issues, to the point that I don’t know what to write!
Of course, if I hit it somewhere or give it an impact, it definitely hurts, so it’s obvious I have to be careful, and I didn’t drink alcohol and was careful just in case. And I also think maybe doing it when the weather wasn’t hot was one reason it wasn’t that difficult.
Right now, since it is plastic surgery after all, I’m obviously satisfied with the most important thing, the shape, and I also have no discomfort in terms of function or daily life, so I think I did well to get it done!! Most of all, because of my job, I have to meet many new people, and I feel like I’ve gained a lot of confidence! I don’t know whether those people think I’m handsome or ugly, but my confidence quietly goes up on my own lol
People around me actually don’t really notice that I had surgery. Friends who saw me before the surgical swelling went down obviously know, but people I’ve seen after a long time don’t know I had surgery unless I tell them first, and they say I somehow look more handsome!! (Before that, I had filler, then dissolved it and put in silicone, so there isn’t a big height difference.) It could be that it looks like I had surgery but they don’t mention it because it might be rude, but even my closest friends (they’re very honest people lol) said it turned out really natural and completely well, like “Wow, it’s better than I thought?” and said they would want to do it too if they just had time off work. They kept asking me this and that, and whenever that happened I felt good, so I recommended that they get a consultation with the doctor who operated on me lol
What’s important is that this has to last well my whole life without inflammation or side effects, and I absolutely must not have to get revision surgery again.. Based on my current situation at two months, even when I touch it, twist it a little, or press it, far from hurting, it feels like it has become part of my own flesh, so I’m not too worried. And the hospital tells me to come in for an interim check? But even that feels bothersome to the point where I think, I’m busy, do I really need to?.. It feels like it has settled completely.
Before, when hospitals said, “It takes 1 month for swelling to go down~ It takes 1 month to return to daily life~” I would think, in reality it probably takes about 3 months? But these days it doesn’t seem like that either!
But I really did a lot of online research and footwork to find a good hospital and doctor, took notes on everything one by one while deciding, and fortunately I’m a case with a good result. I really hope everyone doesn’t just look at successful reviews like this and think nose surgery is no big deal, then rush into it anywhere without properly looking into it. When I imagine that people might read my review and think, “I guess it’ll somehow go well for me too,” and take surgery lightly, it makes me scared to write positive posts about plastic surgery like this. I hope everyone researches in their own way and gets it done at a good hospital without regrets!!
