Clinic Review

I watched YouTube and went in for a consultation about nose surgery with the head doctor. Compared with other hospitals, he explained things well by using lots of easy-to-understand analogies, and when it came to what the nose or eyes would actually look like after surgery, he took a long time to consult carefully while having me look in the mirror and shape it with my hands, so I didn't feel the consultation fee was wasted. (At first I was a bit annoyed that they only took photos without even a CT scan and still charged 300,000 won.) He was honest about what could be done and what couldn't, and he didn't recommend unnecessary surgery. At other hospitals they said my nose had a hump and a broad bridge so osteotomy was absolutely necessary, but here they said my nose doesn't need osteotomy and that they would do it without implants, though if they open the nose and find severe septal deviation they might use donated costal cartilage, which made me a little uneasy. The only downside was that the price here was 6 million won before VAT, while other plastic surgery clinics were in the high 3 million won range including osteotomy and VAT. They said the price for the nose is fixed with no event discounts. They said eye surgery would be cheaper right now because of a promotion, and since it would be non-incisional there would not be much scarring. Also, because nothing is cut out and it is just tied, if I don't like the result I can simply release the knots and the eye shape will return to how it was before. Overall I liked the explanation, but the before-and-after photos didn't really match my style, so I made a reservation elsewhere. Still, they explained everything so thoroughly that I think this is a good place to get a consultation once!
