I had a CT scan first, and then waited about 40 minutes? I did wait quite a bit. The doctor consultation came first, and even though this was my first surgery, they recommended donor rib to me,, They said my septum was also short, so there was no material I could use. They said donor rib was absolutely necessary, so I felt a bit like, huh..? None of the other clinics had ever mentioned rib cartilage before.. But later when I looked at the reviews here, it seems like the doctor really likes donor rib.. In the end, I decided not to do it here.
