I decided to visit because I saw the doctor on YouTube and thought he seemed trustworthy. The online reservation system, like registering for a class, was impressive. So I visited about 2 weeks after booking.
First of all, the director is exactly like he is on YouTube, kind and gentle. I do not think there is a doctor with a gentler style than this. I wanted a canthoplasty, and it was impressive that he carefully checked whether it would be possible and answered almost all of my questions to my satisfaction. The consultation was very good.
The manager was also very kind. In particular, it felt like she paid a bit more attention because I came from the provinces. She gave me advice that was not only about plastic surgery.
Everything had been good up to that point, but now I will write down the downsides I felt.
First, the doctor is not a board-certified specialist. Even if whether he is a specialist or not does not seem like the most important thing, it is hard not to feel a little less confident. There were almost no clinic reviews, and even the few that existed did not seem strong enough to give a high score, so I could not judge the doctor's skill accurately. Unlike on YouTube, the clinic or doctor had almost no fame, which was also somewhat negative. In the end, when judging the doctor's skill, which I consider important, I could not see the skill as outstanding because of the small number of reviews and the low evaluations in those reviews, so I did not go ahead with the surgery.
