This was my 3rd double-eyelid surgery, and I am beyond satisfied with the results. The procedures I got were incision double-eyelid surgery, eye correction surgery, and lower eyelid fat removal.
The surgery took about 3 hours, and I had it while awake under local anesthesia. It really hurt so much. My hands were shaking and I gritted my teeth to endure it. When they removed the lower eyelid fat, I could feel everything, and when they were suturing, they cauterized it? They used something like a laser. It was so hot that I was stomping my feet and ended up soaked in sweat by the time the surgery was over. I held out because the doctor kept saying he was doing it to make me look pretty, so I should just hang in there a little longer haha....
Before the stitches were removed, the gauze they put around my eyes made daily life hard, but after just one week, it was fine. Now it has been 4 months, the swelling is all gone, the scar is fading, and my eye shape is getting prettier.
