The clinic feels like a cafe. It has been decorated very well with an Instagram-style aesthetic. The waiting area is pretty, so my first impression was really good, but the consultation manager... well, it's not that she was unfriendly, but uncomfortable is probably the better word. I don't know if the reviews saying there was absolutely no pressure to pay a reservation deposit were because they had a different manager assigned, but in my case the person in charge said things like, 'You can have surgery at another hospital. We provide a lot of information so you can avoid the blacklisted hospitals, even if you don't do it at our clinic. But after going through consultations, most people end up coming back to our clinic anyway. Reservation deposits are refundable, and if you book on the same day the cost is lower, so it would be good to leave a deposit first and go through consultations.' That was the flow of the conversation, and she pressured me to put down a reservation deposit! In the end I did leave a deposit and got a refund, but when I went to get the refund, the front desk staff said something like, 'We even gave you a cheaper price, so why are you refunding it?' Even though I had every right to get a refund, it made me feel watched and uncomfortable for no reason.. If they pressure you about the deposit, don't just leave it there out of awkwardness. Go to other places, consult enough, and then decide!
