They also said the CT would cost an extra 20,000 won, and when I said I did not want to have it taken, they said it was recommended if you have a deviated septum, but that I should ask the doctor first. In the end, I did not get it done. (The idea of paying as much as 40,000 won just for the consultation seems very burdensome.)
I waited more than 40 minutes because the doctor was delayed due to treating patients. Because of that, maybe, he looked exhausted and sighed several times while explaining. He had a very blunt, unsmiling impression. (I did not ask a single question in the middle until he finished explaining, and I had not bothered him at all, so I felt awkward because he was so stern.)
He did check very carefully with a headlight on, touching my nose directly and looking thoroughly inside it as well. He firmly pointed out what would not work for my nose. It felt like he was pursuing natural results and safety, and that there would be almost no change from my existing nose. He explained clearly, organizing the surgical method twice, so it was easy to understand.
However, more than understanding the patient's needs, the doctor's opinion felt firm, and I did not get much of a sense of human communication. So the moment the consultation ended, I thought I definitely should not get surgery here.
