Ever since I started thinking about revision surgery, I had been reading the blog carefully, and just then they were running a consultation-fee waiver event, so I went. I was randomly assigned to the surgeon whose name appeared on the blog, but later it seemed like there is a separate main surgeon? To describe the surgeon I consulted with: diligent, but sharp. This did not feel like a problem of kindness, but more like someone who had become sensitive from accumulated surgery complaints.
First of all, I liked that they pursued a natural look, and they explained and recommended all the different things they could do while considering the parts I wanted improved. However, the result shown in the before-and-after photos was different from the direction I wanted, and there was not much visible change compared to the effort of going through revision surgery, so I hesitated.
And I had seen reviews saying they react sensitively to questions, so even though I was as careful and polite as possible when asking, I still felt like the questions themselves were being taken as attacks. Probably they had received a lot of complaints after similar surgeries and were worn out, but still, I wondered whether they really needed to react so coldly to a patient who came in specifically requesting them.
The manager seemed professional and I thought she would handle things well, so that was good. The staff also seemed to work in an organized way. The hospital facilities looked hygienic and clean.
And even though there was no consultation fee, I liked that they still consulted kindly and sincerely. They contacted me in advance to adjust the time because many appointments had piled up during my consultation slot and they were worried the wait would get long. I felt they were considerate toward patients in that regard.
The consultation was worth trying once, but I strongly felt that communication with the surgeon would not go well, so I did not have the surgery.
I would be willing to visit again with a different surgeon!
