I went for a consultation not too long ago, and usually the clinic should at least understand the patient's needs to some extent and tailor the consultation accordingly (this is cosmetic surgery, not surgery for pain), but they kept pushing only their own opinion. When I said that was not the surgical direction I wanted, they got extremely heated on their own. The staff member was not especially kind either, and the director.. recommended a surgery that felt excessive to me, so my trust in the clinic dropped a lot. In the end I had surgery elsewhere, and the result turned out well. A doctor only needs to perform surgery well, but I think some communication with the patient is necessary.
