Eye Surgery Considerations

1mm Community Review

I went for a consultation trusting only the head surgeon and without any information about the hospital at all, but the hospital is just... I think system improvement is the most urgent priority. The waiting system is inefficient. The waiting room is packed with people and crowded, and you wait, take photos, wait, see the consultation manager, wait, see the surgeon, and each of those waiting moments takes tens of minutes Above all, the first impression of the hospital, the front desk? The female employee with the big eyes, Ms. Choi, was so rude that my image of the hospital... I know they are busy and tired because there are so many people, but when I first arrived she did not even say something simple like, 'Name?' She just stood there in silence for several seconds and stared at me with an annoyed expression until I said my name. What was that..? Later, they told me to fill out the chart, so I did and brought it back. Then they asked about my recent surgery history, so I told them, and since I thought it might help, I also told them about my first previous surgery history. She frowned a bit and then very irritably crossed out lines in the chart with her pen, making a harsh scratching sound as she rewrote the first surgery history from the beginning, and I thought, why is she acting like this? So unpleasant. If that was the case, she should have asked about the first surgery history from the start lol This was not some twenty-questions game. I was so bewildered and uncomfortable, wondering if she had some personal grudge against me. I kept watching because it was so strange, and she was even rolling her eyes at other customers too. She really seems off... On the other hand, she seemed very gentle and good with the staff, so why be irritated with first-time customers...? I was close to saying something after holding it in, but I thought she was probably just busy ㅡㅡ sigh. Anyway, the wait until the consultation was long, but the surgeon's consultation was professional and good, and he was very realistic, so it was nice to be able to evaluate things objectively I was surprised that he was younger than I expected, and he seems quite cheerful. The consultation manager was not a doctor but wore a white coat, which felt odd, but she was kind and seemed to have received good internal training, because she knew the procedure well and answered professionally, so I was satisfied.. but I keep remembering the unpleasant impression and want to skip it.
