I had my first eye surgery on Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m.~ The manager was kind, and whenever I had a question and asked, they answered well and always explained things clearly, which I liked.
I was frustrated because there were not many detailed reviews, so I will write down everything I can remember!
1. Parking I came with a guardian, and parking support was based on the discharge time. Parking fees were supported.
2. Fasting & arrival at the hospital Fasting for 4 hours After 1 p.m. I could not eat anything and had to arrive by 5 p.m. I arrived at the hospital at 4:30 p.m.
3. After arrival Paid the surgery fee (deposit of 100,000 won) Changed clothes and took photos Met with the guardian and the manager, received explanations about precautions, aftercare, and side effects, and filled out the surgical consent form
4. Consultation before surgery Design consultation with the doctor (manager and guardian also present) I liked that the doctor explained what to consider and choose while trying out the line I kept blinking a lot while making the line, so it kept disappearing and had to be redone, but they never showed irritation and handled it well! Later they said it was tiring, but I was grateful that they stayed kind until the end~ I have asymmetrical eyes, and my right eye had a slightly more droopy upper eyelid, so they kept comparing the line and asked whether there was a difference from the left line They also told me later that if the line is too low, making it higher is easy, but if it is too high, lowering it is difficult, so I was able to choose carefully and have the surgery

5. Surgery There is CCTV in the operating room I did not ask whether I could watch it, so I do not know After going into the operating room, I lay on the operating table, they confirmed my personal details and what surgery it was, and then fixed my hands and feet while explaining things A nurse set up the operating room, and after a few minutes the doctor came in They carefully checked the final design again and added more detail, then after sedation anesthesia they gave local anesthesia and started the surgery During the procedure they asked me to open my eyes twice
6. After surgery After surgery, with the help of a nurse, I went to a private recovery room and did cold compresses My guardian was contacted immediately when the surgery ended and was guided in, then entered the recovery room I also received IV fluids and rested for about 20 to 30 minutes I changed clothes, went to the lobby desk, and received an ice pack and a small amount of gauze I got instructions on precautions after eye surgery while receiving a paper with the aftercare notes I received the prescription, got the medication from the pharmacy, and went home These days pharmacies print all the medication information and how to take it on the bag, but there was no such information at all, which was disappointing~
* On the day of surgery I kept doing cold compresses on the way home, and after arriving home I rested, took a walk, and slept
* Day 1 After waking up, I walked for 10 minutes, ate breakfast, took the medicine, and kept doing cold compresses, more than 3 times per hour, then rested and repeated it After lunch, I took the medicine, walked for 10 minutes, and kept doing cold compresses, more than 3 times per hour After dinner, I took the medicine, rested while doing cold compresses, and then walked for about 40 minutes I slept with two pillows
I kept applying eye ointment generously around the line whenever it felt dry I also kept practicing opening my eyes so the swelling would go down quickly and the line would settle well
* Day 2 After waking up, I did cold compresses, ate breakfast, took the medicine, and walked for 10 minutes I repeated cold compresses more than 3 times per hour After lunch, I took the medicine, walked for 15 minutes, and kept repeating cold compresses After dinner, I took the medicine, kept repeating cold compresses, and walked for 10 minutes
The swelling seems to be going down better than I expected, and I like the line, so I am just waiting for it to heal well~~
