I went to my first nose surgery with no information, just looking at app photos, and ended up hearing all kinds of bizarre talk about a receding chin and even having to do a Z-osteotomy.. I suffered like crazy. In the end, my nose is now showing early signs of contracture, so I am looking into revision surgery. Everyone is different, but for me that whole period was honestly hellishly horrifying. My face got longer, my nose got shorter, and my nostrils went all the way up (they were already a little upturned). It was not improvement at all, just really.. sigh. Anyway, avoid hospitals that use Medpor. Personally, I do not think it suited me at all.
