I had a consultation on a Sunday afternoon, and there were two people in the waiting room! Other than the time spent filling out the intake form, the waiting time was almost nothing, and the consultation fee was 10,000 won as expected!
After a CT scan, I talked briefly with the consultation manager (manager B.J.H.) and then went straight into consultation with the director. I asked a lot of questions, so I think we talked for just over 30 minutes. First, the director looked at the CT and explained the current condition of my nose. I showed them the nose shape I wanted and the nose shape I did not like. Based on that, they explained the shape and materials while reflecting my opinion as much as possible. Near the end of the consultation, I said one thing: What if my philtrum gets longer? Then they asked, Should we lower the columella a bit? and the columella, which had not been part of the plan, was lowered too.. Hmm.. What is this..? I thought, but after talking with the consultation manager, we decided to lower the columella a little as well.
After the director left, I had another hour of consultation with the consultation manager because I had been torn between donated rib and autologous rib over price, pain, and scarring.. And I also asked to see the silicone in person.. The estimate was: Revision rhinoplasty (bridge-silicone + tip-donor costal cartilage/ear cartilage + bulbous nose + arrow nose + columella lowering + crooked nose) 5.7 million The slightly unsettling parts were:
The discount for writing a review! The part where they said they would do it for 5.7 million if I decided on the surgery date that day! Those parts felt a little suspicious, but!
The doctor was professional and did not seem careless or to be brushing off what I said, and The consultation manager patiently answered my barrage of questions and clinginess with persistence and patience.
