Before my under-eye fat repositioning surgery, I went to dissolve filler that I had previously placed in the hollow area and front cheekbone. They checked with ultrasound and said a lot was still there, so they dissolved it for me. It had already been in a state where you could not really tell it was there, but I do feel like the skin around my eyes got a bit thinner. There were no side effects.
