Eye Surgery Considerations

CSC Loren review

I had surgery long before things like nose threads became common. It has been more than 5 years since the surgery, I think. (So I do not really remember the price; I think it was somewhere between 150 and 200.) Back then, I do not remember filler for the mouth corners being a thing. During the consultation, they said that if I had the mouth-corner surgery, the incision scar could remain very thin, basically like a fishing line at most. I lived in another region, so I could not go back and forth often, but I did make sure to come in for all the treatments I needed. In the end, the mouth corners did lift. They also said they would fix the asymmetry of the mouth corners, but it is still asymmetrical. I think that is something I need to work on by training my muscles. But the scar is too severe T_T It was left white and large in a shape like < >, and because of that I went to the hospital several times for scar treatment, but it only hurt and showed no improvement. The scar seems to be about three times the thickness of a fishing line. Makeup hides it a bit, but people who know will still know, and when I am bare-faced there is nothing to say T_T.. As time passed, the scar became more deeply set than it was at first. As I got older, the white scar area where I open my mouth also started to crease in several lines like wrinkles. After the surgery, my mother and I suffered a lot because of the white scar on my mouth corner. Even when I went to scar clinics, they said mouth-area surgical scars are hard to remove. I suffered emotionally because of the scar, spent money going back and forth to Seoul, and the scar treatment hurt, so if I could go back, I definitely would not have the surgery. I would look for filler or another method instead T_T I went for scar treatment several times, and maybe because it looked obviously severe, they treated it for free. The last time I went, I heard a staff member gently say something along the lines of it being best not to touch the mouth-corner scar too much, and since then I have stopped going for treatment. I do not feel the scar has improved at all in proportion to the money, time, and pain. I have been through a lot emotionally, and now that it is about year 5 or 6, I just accept that there is nothing I can do. Still, if there were a way to remove the scar, I would really want to try it. I have no ill will toward the hospital. Even now, looking at the scar still makes me feel down sometimes, but since it was a semi-permanent surgery, the mouth corners are still lifted. And although the doctor seems cool and busy, he was kind, and the nurse in the operating room was really, really kind!!
