After having cheekbone surgery with a scalp incision at another hospital, I developed a lot of scar tissue on my scalp, cheekbones, cheeks, and lower face, and my face ended up looking long and swollen like a cucumber. In particular, the scalp, which had been rock-hard, started to move after one or two extracorporeal shock wave treatments. The midface and forehead, which had become long like a cucumber because of the scar tissue, also gradually began to shorten. There was scar tissue around the upper ear area where the mask strap passes, so every time I wore a mask that area was pulled tight and stung, but after getting a minus-fit injection, the scar tissue volume went down a lot and now it does not hurt even when I wear a mask. Because the scarred area was so extensive, the total cost was 10 million won, but I do not regret it. At the beginning, they said they would give a 50 percent discount if I agreed to release before-and-after photos, but I refused. If I had started treatment earlier, I would have suffered less physically and mentally... During that time, because of the scar tissue swelling, I, who live on food, had to become picky about what I ate, my stamina dropped, and social life became hard, so it was really tough. There is still some scar tissue left on my scalp now and maybe a little on my cheeks too, but it is not as severe as before, so I am getting by. If I win the lottery, I will get treatment again. Oh, and about 5 years ago, I once had two dissolvable thread-lift threads placed in my nasolabial folds at a Korean medicine clinic near Gangnam Station, and the dimples that were created then disappeared after receiving extracorporeal shock wave treatment.. Because I needed treatment for such a large area of scar tissue, it probably took more time and money, but if the scar tissue is in a localized area, I think it would be more effective.
