I went in for a consultation for revision surgery for ptosis. The doctor was kind during the consultation, but when I asked whether it would be possible to adjust the eye shape to match my left eye, I was told that the overall balance would not be right, so the left eye should be made larger while the right eye should be made a little smaller. I also said I wanted the double eyelid line to end at the outer corner of the eye, but after touching the area around my brow bone, I was told it was impossible because of the bone. Unlike the hospitals I had consulted before, there were many things I had not heard before, so I was taken aback.
