Review of [Clinic A]

I got consultations at a bunch of large hospitals, and this one felt a bit different. At all the other places, they said that because my nose is very thick and bulbous, I would need donated rib cartilage or autologous costal cartilage to raise it. Compared with the other hospitals, which usually suggested rhinoplasty revision + lateral osteotomy + septoplasty + nose fat removal + donated rib cartilage, this was a place that was confident about doing a more flashy result. Here, they looked at the CT and explained in detail, with drawings, that the osteotomy from my previous nose surgery had been done incorrectly, and they said I had a nose bridge that could work without silicone. They said it looked like I had previously had a hump nose osteotomy, so some of the hump was still left on the CT, and if that area were refined, the bridge would be high enough that silicone would be optional. They said they would proceed with septal cartilage only, without donated rib cartilage, but if that were insufficient, ear cartilage might or might not be used. This was the longest consultation I had anywhere, and I really liked that it felt like they were thinking through my nose together with me. The manager was also very kind, never forced me to book, and clearly told me the price and said to call if I was interested, so it wasn't burdensome. The aftercare and AS policy seemed quite bold, so they seemed confident in the results. The doctor was very chic, but serious, and I got the strong feeling that they would do careful work.
