First, on consultation day, the waiting time was average. The hospital facilities were average as well. I changed clothes first, had an InBody measurement, then consulted with the manager in charge. The consultation with the surgeon had to wait because they were in surgery, so I asked the consultation manager the questions I had written down. There was no special explanation beyond that, just talk about adding areas or costs. It is the kind of hospital where the price keeps going up with added fees, and since I had a higher weight, there were BMI-related extra charges and multiple area additions, so the surgery cost increased a lot. I looked into many other hospitals, but it was too hard to choose. I was also too tired to keep looking, so I decided to just do it here and went ahead with the reservation. I had also considered this place when I was worrying about liposuction last summer, and above all else, the surgeon seemed to have a lot of experience, so that alone made me choose it. Usually I look up some information before going to a consultation, but most of the reviews were on Gangnam Unnie and Babitalk, and there was not much on other communities, so I did not know much before going in. The surgery cost varies a lot depending on the added areas and extra charges for each person, and they said the discount details are all different too. So I could not write the exact amount and only used the price listed in the cosmetic app. If your body is far above the standard, you should expect the cost to increase a lot, and although there are extra charges at any hospital, the 기준 and amounts seem different. Some places charge different amounts by area, but here everything is just the same.
Surgery day - surgery at 3 p.m. They told me to come by 2 p.m. I went to the pharmacy first - changed clothes - waited - filled out simple paperwork with the manager - waited - around 3 p.m. the compression garment fitter came to measure me - waited - surgeon design consultation - then into the operating room. By the time I entered the operating room it was around 4:30 to 5 p.m. Since liposuction is a major surgery, I was so scared that something might happen or that I might have complications that I kept tensing up, then they sprayed disinfectant, had me lie down, and as the anesthesia went in I cried helplessly with tears streaming down my face. T_T At that moment I met someone very kind. Someone in the operating room... a slightly bigger-built person... haha. They really held my hand and asked why I was crying, saying it would be okay. This person was the kindest out of all the hospital visits I made while being anxious, and they left the strongest impression on me, so I am very grateful. I think I was able to calm down and close my eyes mostly because of them... lol The surgery ended and I came out around 7:30 p.m. Also, for reference, there were two doctors in the operating room during the surgery. They said the chief surgeon plus another female doctor who would help would be there too, hehe. I only met the surgeon briefly and did not get to talk much, but they were kind. After the surgery, when they helped me into the compression garment, I had my eyes open, was moved into a wheelchair, then went to the recovery room and got onto the bed by myself. I had once read that the line you see right after surgery is similar to the final line, so I quickly came to my senses and pulled back the blanket to look at my legs first. Hmm, maybe I had expected too much, but it seemed a bit slimmer already? Then I thought, is it already swollen? and just lay there under the anesthesia haze. I was thirsty and looking for water, and a nurse gave me something like juice. They also gave me a few chocolates. I wanted to lie there a bit longer, but my friend was waiting and the hospital was almost closing, so I just left quickly. Other people say they cannot even walk and are so exhausted they collapse, but I felt surprisingly fine. Even taking a taxi home felt like no big deal. When I got home, I felt a slight dizzy sensation when changing clothes, but after that, on the third day, I was even walking and running around in front of my friends on purpose. There was almost no bruising or swelling... Friends around me who had liposuction said they had severe bruising and swelling and struggled for a month, so I was confused because I felt fine from the first week. Later I looked into it a lot, and there was a reason for that. I do not have any side effects yet, and the incision area is not very big either, so it seems okay. The scar looks smaller than the scar photos I saw from other hospitals. The fibrosis started from the second week, but I can only feel it slightly on the inner side of one leg, and I am not sure about the other areas. It feels like the inner thigh and riding-breeches area were reduced. For other areas with more muscle, I think I should consider it as contour refinement. Still, it ended safely without problems, and I am at least a little thinner than before. From the beginning, there was no bruising or pain at all around the area above the knees, and even now in week 3 there is no change. For now, it is just overall contour refinement. I plan to wait longer.
After that, I went back to the hospital the next day for dressing and again on the day the stitches were removed. On the dressing day, the person who had given me the chocolates handled it. I also received scar laser treatment. The follow-up high-frequency treatment is again in two weeks. In cases like liposuction, they say you need to wait at least one month to three to six months to see the full result after all swelling has gone down. The big swelling seems to have gone down now, but because of the smaller swelling it is still thick, though I can feel it getting slightly thinner little by little. Surgery that is done safely without overdoing it does not produce dramatic changes like fat thighs to bone-thin thighs. I once saw that safe liposuction is more like fat to thick, thick to average, average to slim, slim to very thin. People who have actually had it will probably relate to that. From other reviews and from friends around me who had it done, going from fat to slim seems to require much more of your own effort and management over a long period even after liposuction. Diet control and changing daily habits seem necessary so it does not go back to how it was, and recovery can be faster and the line can get slimmer.
