I had surgery about 2 years ago, and now I'm in the final stage of orthodontic treatment. I don't have side effects like sensory loss after surgery, and I'm satisfied now, but it's a pity that my nasolabial folds look deeper after the surgery, which feels like an unavoidable fate. Personally, I also wonder if I should have had midface augmentation surgery. If the protrusion is not extremely severe, I recommend considering orthodontic treatment first.
