After the college entrance exam ended, I ended up getting double eyelid surgery at my parents’ recommendation. Since I’m usually not very interested in cosmetic surgery, makeup, or decorating my appearance, I visited the hospital without any prior information about the characteristics of my eyes, the eye shape I wanted, or the surgical method. At first, the word “surgery” really scared me, and I was afraid and worried that it would hurt a lot. But the clinic manager, the people at the front desk, the nurse, and the doctor were all so kind. In particular, the clinic manager and the doctor carefully explained the surgical method that suited me and the surgical process in a reassuring way, so I was able to overcome my fear. After surgery, my eyes feel a bit dry and stiff, and there is some swelling and bruising, so it bothers me a little, but so far it has not hurt as much as I had worried, and I don’t think I’ve felt any major discomfort.
