I took the consultation while prepared for the risks of lagophthalmos and scar tissue and thinking that monolid surgery would be the final destination, but they talked as if it were so easy without even looking at my eyes properly, so if anything my trust went down? When I asked, "This is the same kind of monolid surgery other clinics do, right?" they said yes, but in the old days they just did a simple excision and stitched it just above the eyelid, whereas now they combine know-how and techniques and have solved the problem of the eyes not closing very much...!
