The director has a very confident style. Things that other hospitals said could not be done or strongly discouraged, he said could be done. I wanted a semi-out look, but other places said that because of the Mongolian fold, it would be hard to get the line I wanted unless I had epicanthoplasty, but here they said it was fine. In the end, the surgery turned out the way I wanted, and people around me said it came out well too. What I still remember, though, is that when I was up on the operating table, the director asked me to tell him again how I wanted my nose because he could not remember. There was no way I could explain it as precisely as I had during the consultation, so I was flustered. The result was pretty, but please know this in advance.
