I got masseter Botox and had a side effect.
Even when the doctor injected it at first, they were way too careless! They finished in about 5 seconds, so I thought, 'This is a factory-style place, I guess that is normal,' but 2 or 3 days later, every time I chewed something, my masseter muscles would bulge out suddenly. I searched online because I was like, what is this? and found out it was a side effect caused by incorrect injection depth...
When I called the clinic, a staff member immediately booked me in again and also understood how frustrated I was... The director who did the re-treatment was very kind and carefully did the Botox again! I was very, very satisfied with the aftercare!
But even after the re-treatment, I still had to live with the bulging masseter for several weeks,, and I got no benefit from the masseter treatment at all, just wasted money and felt stressed,,
* My takeaway: no matter how simple the procedure is, pay properly and get it done by an experienced specialist!
