About 5 years ago I had ptosis correction + incisional double-eyelid surgery, but one eye had some excess skin sagging, so it needed tissue removal to be balanced... But they proceeded without removing it, so it didn’t stand out much from the front, yet from the side the eyelid covered the crease, and when photographed the asymmetry looked even worse, so I went in for a consultation. When I asked for revision, they acted like it was a bother and said I didn’t need it, so when I insisted, they said it wasn’t that they wouldn’t do it, but then showed me my photos from before surgery and said, “We made this face into this, so what are you so unhappy about?” In the end I had a buried-suture revision, and it became somewhat more symmetrical, but this time I’m going to a specialized double-eyelid hospital in Seoul for another revision... Two years after the surgery, when I had LASIK, I got a foreign-body sensation in my eyes, and I thought it might be from the double-eyelid sutures, so I went back to this hospital. They said if a suture were sticking out, that could cause foreign-body sensation, but that couldn’t be the case. Then they flipped my eyelid and found a suture sticking out... T_T I really regret having the surgery so carelessly. I wish I had gone to a specialized hospital in Seoul from the beginning, then I wouldn’t have had to deal with all these annoying worries.. For double-eyelid surgery, go to a specialized hospital in Seoul, Daegu, or Busan.. For reference, I don’t remember the estimate, so I wrote it arbitrarily.
