I got botox for the tip of my nose and the sides of my nose. I was lying down, so I could not check whether they used the exact amount, but before starting they did not apply numbing cream and went straight to icing! Apparently numbing cream does not work anyway for muscle injections, and that seems true... But honestly this was right; doing ice first and then the injections saves time and hurts much less, so I liked it!!!! The botox did work, but unfortunately it did not last very long, so that was disappointing. Maybe it was because they treated two areas with one shot and the botox amount was not enough... (just my guess) The doctor was so, so, so kind, which I really liked.
