Song Young-ju Review

About ten-plus years ago, one side of my double eyelid kept coming undone, so I went to a nearby plastic surgery clinic for consultation on buried double eyelid surgery (at the time, I think it was called a double-buried method, but the clinic website is gone now so I am not sure). My interpupillary distance is not wide, but because I had an epicanthal fold, they also recommended epicanthoplasty. I went ahead with the double-buried method and epicanthoplasty. They said it would take at most 30 minutes to 1 hour, but in reality it was over an hour and a half, almost two hours before I came out. After light sedation, they gave local anesthesia and kept making me open and close my eyes during the surgery. The order was light sedation - epicanthoplasty - local anesthesia - double eyelid surgery. During the epicanthoplasty, they said something like it was not unfolding properly, which made me feel a bit uneasy. It did not feel like the procedure was going smoothly. T_T The swelling lasted much longer than I expected, but to tell the result first: The double eyelid did last a long time, but the line itself became different on each side and the height was different. One eye started coming undone again from some point. The sunken scar from the epicanthoplasty feels like it will last forever... I even bought the expensive scar ointment sold by the clinic and applied it, but... Ever since the eyelid started coming undone, I sometimes feel a strong foreign-body sensation inside. I wonder if the thread snapped and is sticking out... I want to go back to the clinic, get examined, and have it removed or something, but the clinic is gone and it does not seem like the director is at another clinic either. T_T
