I also had a double eyelid consultation here, and they recommended ptosis correction together with it. They explained things well with a ruler on my eye. But I think I probably have pseudoptosis, and I left without being able to ask about that.. I thought ptosis correction was not strictly necessary for my eyes, so I did not get the surgery.
