I came in for reoperation after eye correction failed.
I remember first speaking with the manager, and she consulted as if she were the doctor.
This place was also somewhere my mother looked up and brought me to, so I just went there like a machine.
It was one of those places with an older auntie manager and a woman in her late 30s? A young female manager? Those two gave a very professional? consultation.
It feels like they run a neighborhood business.
Anyway, this time too I came because my mother told me to, and after they checked the estimate, they judged that at the very start the line had been set too tightly,
so the eye correction itself had been done wrong.
I was told I would definitely need double eyelid surgery. They also recommended epicanthoplasty, but my mother refused that, so I did not get epicanthoplasty.
That is how the surgery proceeded.
On the day of surgery, the doctor came into the operating room cheerfully. One doctor and one nurse came in, and they proceeded with local anesthesia while talking.
There was a smell of cigarettes, but the surgery started,
and they played music, changing songs as they went, while chatting through the operation. As my tension eased, I prayed it would go well.
After about an hour, they said they were taking a short break and went out for a cigarette. Sigh.
At that point I felt something was off, but seriously... do your own research before choosing plastic surgery. Do not trust everything your parents hear through word of mouth. Just go to the famous places in Seoul, Apgujeong, Cheongdam, or Gangnam, please..
Anyway, with cigarette smell all over, they finished the surgery again, and the result was a failure once more.
This time I have uneven eyes.
Uneven eyes happened.
I got one more reoperation here. It became uneven eyes again.
There is no answer. They say I need epicanthoplasty. I am exhausted.
I just fought with them and left because I did not want to have it done at this hospital.
And that was the end of my second and third eye attempts.
