I visited to have hyaluronidase used to remove filler that had been injected in the under-eye/front cheekbone area at another hospital. The filler had been placed more than 5 years ago, and the reason I ended up going there was that, after joining a side-effect cafe and spending a lot of time reading posts and writing comments, I found out through word of mouth that people like me, whose hyal filler still had not disappeared, were going there. I had a detailed consultation with the manager first, and after that I met the director, who looked extremely busy. He was kind as I had expected, but I had a lot of questions and could not ask them because he was so busy.
Also, during the consultation with the manager, I was told that when removing filler, this place dissolves it while looking with an ultrasound device, unlike other places, and I came because people who had been here before in the side-effect cafe said the same. But when they examined me, the director said I did not need ultrasound guidance for the filler, so I almost trusted that and did not do it, but I felt uneasy and asked to pay extra so it could be dissolved while using ultrasound, and proceeded. So if anyone is going, I recommend definitely asking to have it dissolved while checking with ultrasound. If you do it without looking and it melts in the wrong place, that would not be good.
Anyway, the director checked with ultrasound to see at what depth the filler was located and then dissolved it. He also squeezed the filler area and showed me in the mirror that it was being pushed out to the outside. I got one injection for dissolving, and when I got home, it really had dissolved.
In conclusion, the doctor seems to have skill, but it is expensive. Other places charged 30,000 won for ultrasound, but here I paid 110,000 won. And because he was so busy, that part felt quite disappointing. Even so, the reason I went there was because they said they would remove it while using ultrasound, and I had seen reviews from people who visited and said it really dissolved, so for me I think it was the right choice to go.
