I had full incisional surgery about 5 years ago. I had stopped by because the nearby factory-style hospital was so unfriendly, and since this was a private clinic, I liked it. During the consultation, the director personally looked at my eyes and checked things like opening and closing them and my strength for keeping them open, then I discussed costs with the manager. I was not originally planning to get an epicanthoplasty, but they said it would be better to get one if I wanted the outer line I was after, so I ended up doing it. During surgery, they occasionally open your eyes to check the tension of the eyelids, and since the doctor I had seen during the consultation was the one I saw there, you do not need to worry about a locum doctor. That said, I opened my eyes too wide, so one side felt like the muscle was being pulled up too much, and I had a revision surgery right away two days later. There was no extra cost, and the foreign-body sensation went away immediately. If you feel discomfort, go to the hospital as soon as possible. In the end, I got exactly the thickness I wanted, naturally and without scars. After a long time it has become a little thinner, but before I say anything, everyone assumes it is natural. Not recommended if you like something flashy; highly recommended if you like a natural look. Ask them to remove the stitches a little early. My skin regenerates quickly, so the stitch marks lasted about a year.
