Eye Surgery Reviews

Gini Review

First of all, I hadn't had a consultation and had only made a reservation. The consultation fee for double-eyelid surgery is 33,000 won. I saw on the blog that it was 10,000 won until last year. When I called to ask again, they said it had gone up; I asked how long the consultation would take, and they said the doctor would see me for about 30 minutes... The fact that this wasn't explained beforehand, and that the consultation fee seemed set far too high, made me cancel. When I went to other places for consultations, I was told my eyes only needed incisional surgery, so I thought there was no point in paying 30,000 won for a consultation anyway. Even in Gangnam they don't charge that much, and in fact most places don't charge at all, so I'm a bit puzzled. Well, they said the consultation fee would be deducted if I went ahead with the surgery, but I think you should treat it as something like a small reservation deposit. I actually think the hospital would be better off removing the consultation fee and instead charging a higher reservation deposit. Honestly, this is the first time I've ever heard of a 30,000-won consultation fee for eye surgery. I made up the estimate amount just to write this post.
