The first surgery reopened, so I had revision surgery. During the consultation, maybe because I'm a man, there wasn't really any talk about deciding on how many millimeters the double eyelid should be or anything like that, and only when I was lying on the operating table did they ask whether I wanted a subtle double eyelid or no visible eyelid fold. I wish we had discussed it in advance, and the surgical consultation also felt like they weren't explaining the principles of double eyelid surgery, only the origin of it, so I was a bit disappointed because I wanted a surgical plan and professional knowledge.
