I had surgery through the armpit incision with Mentor Smooth implants, 300/325cc each. They said I bled more than other people during the dissection process. They said after they stopped all the bleeding and were suturing, I strained too much, so they reopened my left armpit, stopped the bleeding, and sutured it again. I guess they just left the right breast alone because there was no particular issue? But from day 2 after surgery, the pain in both breasts was so different. I'm usually insensitive to pain, but it was hard to walk by myself and even hard to breathe, so a distance that would normally take 10 minutes took me 30 minutes to walk. I was so anxious that I went to the hospital, and they said my right breast was very swollen and it seemed like blood had pooled there (the bruising wasn't severe..) So I went straight into revision surgery that same day... Because I had eaten breakfast before coming, I waited at the hospital for about 7 hours, and I spent those seven hours crying, almost as if I had been left alone in a room that was extremely noisy and cold. When I told my mom about the revision surgery too, tears suddenly poured out, so I cried hard while telling her I was sorry... When the surgery started, my arms already hurt so much to stretch out, but having to force them out and be tied to the operating table was really hard. They said this happens to about 1 in 100 people, so I also felt resentful, wondering why it had to be me.... Today is the day after the revision surgery, and since they drained the blood, I'll be okay, right...? I think it would be so hard if I get capsular contracture, bruising from bleeding again, or side effects.. Is there anyone here who has been through something like me...?
