It was a package promotion, so it was really cheap, 20,000 won total for 5 sessions. When you go in, you take off everything except the tank top on top, put on the short shorts they give you at the desk, and wear a long gown. When you enter the treatment room, you take off the gown and place it on your stomach, then put your arms up. They also cover your eyes with some weird silicone glasses-like thing. I think they did the underarms, upper lip, and legs in that order. For the upper lip and underarms, it snaps and stings. Especially the underarms... The legs do not hurt at all. Maybe the machine has a cooling function, because it was not even hot. At the end they apply ointment.
The results were so-so for the price. The amount of hair was reduced to about half and it became finer. The clinic is clean and not bad. I plan to do another 5-session package later.
Some tips: 1. Shave before you go. If you go without shaving, they give you a razor (1,000 won) and you have to shave it yourself before coming out. Well, there is nothing else to put on, sigh... 2. Wear a tank top. 3. If you are doing the upper lip, bring a mask because it gets a bit red. 4. They will explain it, but you need to book in advance. Make sure to reserve at least a week ahead.
