Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of [Clinic A]

The director kept chewing gum throughout the surgery; haha They gave me local anesthesia for the eyes while I was under sedation, and when I opened my eyes, the surgery was already in progress. They kept having me sit up and lie back down while doing the ptosis correction, and it felt like they were pulling too hard. I thought maybe this was just how it was because I normally tolerate pain well, but I regret not saying something then. And because it went on for over 3 hours, the anesthesia wore off in the middle and it hurt so much. So they did local anesthesia again, and that hurt a lot too. It was the last appointment of the day, so instead of letting me rest in the recovery room, they explained the aftercare instructions and seemed eager to send me out quickly because everyone wanted to go home. On the bus ride home I felt nauseous, my eyes hurt so much, and because it was midsummer I was hot and irritated too. After that I went back to have the stitches removed and kept going for follow-up visits maybe 5 times, and the aftercare was good. They gave me laser treatment and injections, checked my eyes, and even though it has been years since the surgery, it looks very obvious and has a sausage-like appearance, so I regret having done it.
