A consultation with the director costs an extra 30,000 won and has to be booked separately... Why is it that the doctor who operates on my body is not the one doing the consultation? T_T I asked whether I could not consult with the director, and they said he was in surgery right now... But while I was changing clothes in the changing room, I heard a man talking to a female patient. They clearly said there was only one doctor, so what was that? lol Since the doctor was not the one doing the consultation, of course they did not do ultrasound, but they did check InBody.
The manager was kind, but the pressure to pay a deposit / make a same-day booking was extremely intense... In the past six months I have visited around 10 plastic surgery clinics, and this was the first one that was this intense... The pressure was overwhelming. For people who are extremely introverted / shy, it would be hard to get out.
When I said I would visit other hospitals and then decide, most clinics these days would finish by saying something like, “Okay, the managers there probably know too, please contact us later.” But wow... they repeated it about five times lol. It was really uncomfortable, but I held out.
They said the price was fixed, but as they asked how much I had in mind, the price kept going down little by little... Then that is not a fixed price, is it? lol
Starting from “If you add this, it would normally be 000,000 won, but I’ll make it ** won,” the amount went down to 1000 -> 950 -> 900 if booked that day... They said the deposit had to be 1,000,000 won.
The hospital facilities also looked very cramped and old T_T I said I would go to another clinic for more consultations today and decide later, and asked for the 10,000 won consultation booking fee back. They clearly said that if I booked the day before, they would refund it right away, but later changed their story and said they would return it when I finished all my consultations and called them with my decision. My 10,000 won was held hostage lol. I guess they were worried I would not call T_T lol As soon as I liked the next clinic's consultation and said I would not proceed with surgery, asking them to return the money, they said it would take 1 to 2 days. Why??? lol It is only 10,000 won, and transferring that would take less than a minute haha Since it was not a big amount, I did not want to argue about it and just did not answer T_T
And the price was seriously ridiculously expensive... I booked another clinic and it was about three times cheaper. The post-care period was a bit longer, but even so, I cannot accept it being three times as expensive.
