Eye Surgery Reviews

Custom Community Review

I had my first double eyelid surgery 5 years ago when Dr. OOO was there. It was such a terrible experience that I didn’t even want to write a review or look at it again. But I found it while reading reviews, so I’m writing it now. Right before surgery, I didn’t like the line they marked, and while we were talking about it, they got irritated. I was really young then, and I went alone, so I ended up in the operating room barely able to say anything, just fumbling around. As a result, it was of course a disaster, just a sausage eye with a line drawn across it. Then I went for a consultation because I wanted it released, and the manager practically threatened me by saying I’d have to ask the same doctor who did it to fix it, so I just went along with it, paid the anesthesia fee, and had surgery. A surgery they said would take 20 minutes ended up taking more than 2 hours. It wasn’t general anesthesia, so during the whole surgery I could hear bits and pieces of the doctor and nurse talking. "Oh, Dr. Kim doesn’t even know the surgical method," "Oh, how did you do this?" Plus, I was left lying there alone in the operating room for dozens of minutes. After the surgery, I came out looking completely beaten up. Thinking about it now, it was grounds for a lawsuit, but back then I was so traumatized that I just wanted to escape and forget it quickly. The doctor probably doesn’t remember, but it was still horrific for me, and that hospital is still popular and heavily promoted, so every time I go to Gangnam I end up grimacing.
