Returned for a follow-up around year 4 or 5 after surgery The clinic had moved and the surgeon who did my surgery, Seo Won-hong, was no longer there. Now, 8 and a half years later, the protruding and hard part in the columella area has turned dark, feels soft when touched, and seems to sink inward. I also sometimes feel tenderness at the glabella. It got red, maybe due to inflammation, and if that columella area is even lightly brushed, it hurts so much that I could cry, so I went to a nearby plastic surgery clinic in an emergency. Unlike what I had thought, they suspected an L-shaped silicone implant, and said the thing I can feel in the columella area is the shifted L-shaped implant. They also said the nostrils are uneven and the nose shape does not look like a surgically altered nose at all, and bluntly said it doesn't look good, and diagnosed it as contracture symptoms caused by the L-shaped silicone, recommending a revision surgery as soon as possible.
I was so angry and shocked that I asked whether I could check the past surgery records at the two clinics where the current doctors work, [Clinic A] and [Clinic B], but they said Oscar no longer exists and is a separate clinic, so there are no records. The doctor who operated on me seems to now specialize in liposuction, and I keep wondering whether I was a guinea pig while he was building up experience in eye and nose surgery. I'm from the provinces, so it isn't easy to go all the way to Seoul to look into revision surgery, and my nose is getting worse by the day, so I'm losing my mind.
