About 3 years ago, I was unhappy with my appearance and went to a place my parents brought me to without thinking. I was a man in my 20s. It was famous for eye surgery, but most of the reviews were from women older than me, so maybe I should have gone to a clinic that specializes in men. When the director asked whether I wanted it to look natural with almost no change or wanted noticeable change, I did want a natural look, but I also wanted a change in my appearance, so I chose the latter and had the surgery. The price was on the expensive side. Afterward, my eyes definitely got bigger and I had no side effects, but people around me kept saying, "You keep looking more feminine, you look gay, you look like a Southeast Asian," and it has been really hard to hear. I am looking into revision surgery. When the director gave me options back then, I should have chosen the natural one, and I regret it bitterly. Other people's reviews mostly say it is so subtle you can barely tell they had anything done and that they need to do it again because there is too little change, so why am I like this...? I wonder if, because I am a man, I should have taken a more conservative approach.
