Consultation review: I visited on August 7, and as soon as I arrived at the clinic, it was so hot I really felt like I had come to a sauna.. (the entire wall on one side of the lobby was glass) I was sweating as I filled out the chart and went into the manager consultation, and only then did I hear that the air conditioner had suddenly broken, and they put a desk fan in front of me while saying the clinic was very hot. It had been under a heat wave advisory recently, so the outside temperature was already brutal; if they had told me in advance that the air conditioner was broken, I would have changed the consultation schedule or canceled it It was not even a place I had especially been looking forward to Maybe the director was just in a hurry, or maybe very busy, but it was good that they drew the incision line and epicanthoplasty method on a tablet to explain it, yet everything else felt rushed, like they wanted the consultation to end quickly, and that attitude was really awful... They also did not offer a variety of line shapes, and while the line they chose was naturally good, personally I am not very greedy, but it felt too thin and like it would get covered up quickly, so I did not like it. I am quite worried about lower eyelid entropion. They were honest that surgery is possible, but I should understand that scars may be visible later. They said if I want it, they will do it, but insurance does not apply, so if I want insurance processing I should go to an ophthalmology clinic instead. I do not know whether I should take that positively or negatively.. Among the clinics I visited, the manager being the least pushy was what I liked most, but the director's consultation was close to unsatisfactory, so I do not feel like I want to go ahead with surgery.
