I once injured my lip, and after the upper lip was torn and stitched, a scar formed along the lip line and it became uneven, so I visited for a consultation about scar revision surgery. During the lip consultation, the doctor said eye surgery would probably turn out well and recommended it. I went there only for my lip, but ended up booking and proceeding with eye surgery too. Since I had a lot of fullness in the upper eyelids, I asked them to remove as much fat as possible on the day of surgery so the lids would look less heavy.
The result was that after the eye surgery, my impression became much harsher than before, and 9 out of 10 people said it failed. For years I kept hearing, "Why did you get eye surgery? Why did you touch your eyes?" The inner corner was also opened too sharply downward on a diagonal, so I am looking into a revision for the inner corner. And most importantly, the lip surgery did not even properly remove the scar or correct it, so my lips are still asymmetric. Anyone considering cosmetic surgery here should think very carefully before choosing.
