Mid-40s, had skin sagging, and was told it would be better to do the lower eyelid surgery at the same time, so I had it done together with full incision. It has been 3 months, and the doctor is a bit prickly. It is definitely not an easy surgery, but before surgery there is a tendency to make it sound simple. After surgery, pain and scars are really case by case, so the same lines get repeated. Right now, one side seems to have gone well, but the other side has a surgical scar that stands out quite a bit.. There must be a reason they say to allow 5 months for lower eyelid pain and scars.
