Eye Surgery Considerations

Gangnamjel Clinic review

The consultation was satisfying. But I think you need to know a lot beforehand if you want to hear a lot of what you want. They were not the type to proactively explain things, but even when I asked all kinds of questions, they gave clear explanations. Things like the lifting range, whether it can be lifted as much as you want, and so on. They honestly said what could not be done could not be done, and that there was a limit to lifting. They also explained the incision range in detail, and according to the manager, people who can widen the SMAS dissection range more than other places are rare, and because the doctor is meticulous, the sutures would not leave a big scar. Of course you have to take that with some allowance, but even looking at the actual surgery photos and result photos, it seemed that way. They also said that here they do facelift surgery while doing fat repositioning, and that with the SMAS rolling technique they could also fill in the hollowed area of the cheekbone side. They also said the torn-ear problem I got from my first surgery could be fixed. What I was a little unsure about, though, was that this is a surgeon who also does forehead lifts, but even though I did not specifically ask about that, they did not mention that I should consider it if possible. At another place, during consultation, I heard that it would be better to lift the upper forehead rather than just below the current area, and that if I do it, doing both would give a more satisfying result. Of course that could also be a commercial tactic, but since I asked the same question about the same issue (I said I wanted forehead reduction), thinking back now, it is not exactly wrong, so the fact that they did not mention it here is a bit troubling. So if I do go ahead, I would want to do the forehead lift together too.. When I asked about forehead reduction, they explained it, but they did not explain expectations like this, so I wondered if they were not as confident about the face area. I am thinking maybe I should do the face here and try another place for the forehead.. They seem skilled, but I did not get a price consultation for the forehead, and even if this is a revision case, it is relatively expensive, so I am hesitating. Compared with the famous facelift clinics in Apgujeong, it seems about average. They seem to specialize more in middle-aged patients than younger ones, and because it is 1-on-1 customized consultation, you can get a consultation right away once you book, and the atmosphere is relaxed and nice. I wish they had surgery videos or materials on YouTube. I have seen a lot of before-and-after videos now, so it has become hard to compare and choose among other hospitals.
