I still keep getting the feeling of a upturned nose, which makes me sad. It is depressing, but I am thinking of having the entire nose removed. For now, I plan to wait six months, since maybe the swelling will go down.
+ After six months, I went back for another consultation and they said we should do a revision surgery. The upturned nose did not come down, and the columella retracted badly. Even when I went in for follow-up visits, they would only say, "Why is it like this?" and I would ask, "Well..." and they would just answer, "I see," which was frustrating. I half-resigned myself and lived with it, then when I went for a consultation once revision was possible, I asked whether it was a contracted nose, and they said it did not seem like that. Later, when I went up to Seoul and asked again, they said it was a case of contracted nose. Looking at the photo after the capsule removal, it was clearly a contracted capsule to anyone who saw it. T_T
When I went back to this hospital and told them, they said they had absolutely never said that. Honestly, the director, the staff, everyone was kind, but once things turned out this way, it was true that I could no longer trust them. They said they would take responsibility to the end as long as they had the ability, but well... I do not know how far that ability extends, so I no longer wanted to leave it to them.
Of course, there are many people who have good results here, but I still want to tell others to follow someone with more experience. I feel like I ended up like this because I hesitated over insurance coverage and narrowed my choices too much. It is true that surgery by a more experienced doctor has a higher chance of success.
