Before surgery, the head surgeon's consultation was blunt, but I actually liked that more than empty-sounding reassurances before surgery, so I was satisfied. However, when I said I was also worried about another area, the consultation manager said it was just fat and that it would shrink overall, so I added it on the day of surgery. But there was no change in circumference or even in the line, and all I got was a large, visible scar. I should have only done the abdomen. It has been a year, but the scar is still large, so I am currently getting scar removal treatment. I wish I had looked into it more.
