Eye Surgery Reviews

Choiyeop community review

This is a clinic I found after directly emailing a famous first-generation beauty YouTuber. Back then, my eye pressure was also sensitive, so they said on YouTube that they took that into account carefully during surgery, which is why I emailed and visited, and then ended up having surgery there. To cut to the point, that YouTuber recently had revision surgery too lol. They said they were so satisfied, but their comment had the nuance that they got revision surgery because they were unhappy with sleepy-looking eyes. What still makes my blood boil is that at no other clinic was the inner corner correction and eye-opening correction deemed necessary, yet they insisted on both anyway, and I made the decision based on the surgeon's confidence. I still regret that the most. After the inner corner correction, I ended up with an inner hook that had not existed before, lol. Of course, the two sides are uneven too. Because of the eye-opening correction, if I put even a little force into my eyes, the whites show too much. What I still remember is that when I first went to get the stitches removed, the director said, 'Oh, your image is going to change a lot?' and I was so flustered. He looked at the eye photo I brought with me (it was of a news anchor) and said, 'What is so pretty about this eye? I will make it look like Song Hye-kyo's eyes,' and... I will stop there. They imposed their own aesthetic sense rather than the patient's preference, and they did not consider balance with the whole face, so even though the eyes alone may be pretty, I lost the facial charm that had once been praised as harmonious and beautiful. It has already been more than 5 years since the surgery, and I am still waiting for the technical progress of inner corner revision surgery. I miss my old eyes so much, without the inner corner scar and without that hook.
