I went for a facelift consultation. It was the place I trusted the most out of everywhere I visited that day. The consultant was extremely kind and took the time to explain things while showing me several post-op reviews. While hearing the explanation, I felt that there was no exaggeration. I liked how honestly they talked about recovery after surgery and how often I would need to visit the hospital afterward.
The price was 7.7 million won, the highest among the places I visited that day, and they said it was a fixed-price policy. They also said that on the day of surgery, you are admitted to the hospital to be monitored, and that this is included in the cost, and that they would keep checking your progress through hospital visits for 4 days after the operation. I think the aftercare part has a big influence on the decision. After surgery, the first 1 to 2 weeks are probably the most anxiety-filled, so if the director is checking your progress, I think that would make you feel more at ease.
This was also the only hospital that said they would dissect from the neck area first and then pull the whole face upward, so that part felt good during the consultation. The surgery time is said to be 2.5 to 3 hours. You have to keep taping for 2 weeks and it would be best to think of the first month as pure rest. The consultant was really beautiful, and she was kind and did not pressure me about a deposit or tell me to post surgery reviews anywhere, so even before meeting the director I was already leaning toward them haha.
The consultation with the director was also very kind and detailed, and he took time to explain everything. Leaving the hospital, it was the kind of consultation that made me think, I want to do it here... In fact, even though it was twice the price of the first hospital I visited, I did not hesitate much because it felt like this place would do a better job.
The downside is that there is no CCTV... Because of that, I took away one star for the facility. Since there is only one director, it does not seem like there would be any possibility of ghost surgery, and they said that if requested, they can film the operation and show it to you. It would have been much better if there had been CCTV. I had seen Mr. Kwon Dae-hee's case on YouTube, so I wanted CCTV because I was worried about possible medical accidents. I almost could not even include this place on my consultation list because I was deciding on hospitals only if they had CCTV. Still, it is so famous that I went, and I would have regretted it if I had not.
Overall, it did not feel like they were just trying to do business. They were kind, took time to explain, and the director has many surgical cases, so I trusted them, and the aftercare seemed good too, so I leaned toward them a lot. I still have not fully decided because I could not stop by one other very famous place, but if I end up getting surgery here, I will leave a review afterward.
