Liposuction Reviews

Two weeks after double-chin fat-dissolving liposuction, the side profile already looks different!!!!!!

It has been about two weeks since my fat-dissolving liposuction. It has not fully settled yet, but when I put it next to my before photo, the area under my chin—the part I was most concerned about—definitely looks different, so I am leaving a review.

I was more stressed about the area under my chin when photographed from the side than from the front. I did have a jawline, but because there was some fullness below the chin tip, the boundary between my jaw and neck looked unclear from the side. You can probably see what I mean in the before photo lol. I had a chin tip, but the area below it continued into a round shape, making the jawline seem hidden.

Especially when photographed from the side, I would automatically look at the area under my chin first, and even lowering my head slightly the wrong way made the double chin stand out more, which was subtly stressful T_T

During the consultation, I said that what concerned me most was the area under my chin and my jawline, rather than making my entire face much smaller. I also kept saying that I did not want it to look excessively hollowed out lol T_T

This was my first facial procedure, so I was nervous beforehand, but once I had it done, it hurt less than I worried it would...! On the day and the next day, the area under my chin felt somewhat sore and tight, and it was slightly uncomfortable to open my mouth wide or move my neck. It felt more like the area under my chin was being held firmly than like constant pain that made things difficult.

The swelling was most noticeable during the first few days, and after about a week I could clearly see it going down. Around the second week, it started to feel as though my jawline was properly becoming visible??! I did have some bruising, but it rose slightly around the area under my chin and gradually faded over time. Personally, I think I was more concerned about when the swelling would go down T_T

Anyway, these are my two-week photos. Comparing them with the before photos, the area beneath my chin tip is what stands out first!!!!!! Before, the area under my chin tip seemed to connect directly into my neck in a rounded way, but now, as the volume under my chin has decreased, the line showing where my chin ends is more visible than before.

It does not feel as though all my facial fat has completely disappeared; it feels more like the jawline I already had has become more visible, and I actually prefer that lol

On the other side, before the procedure, the area under my chin continued in a generally rounded way, so the side profile looked somewhat blunt. Now the underside of my chin looks lighter, and the boundary between my neck and chin is a little clearer.

It has only been two weeks, so I need to watch how it changes if the swelling goes down further, but even now the area I was concerned about looks quite different. The front view also feels a little cleaner, but I had it done mainly because of my side profile rather than the size of my face from the front, so honestly I notice the difference much more when comparing side photos lol

I used to zoom in on the area under my chin first whenever I appeared in a photo, but these days I do that less. It is too early to call this the final contour, but even at two weeks, the round fullness beneath my chin tip looks much less pronounced than before, so far I am satisfied lol. I will watch a little longer to see how it looks after more swelling goes down and the contour settles.
