It was the most expensive among the hospitals I visited. The surgeon and manager both seemed very confident, which matched the price. But at other hospitals, I was told that at least a partial incision was needed for my eyes, whereas here they told me to choose between non-incisional and incisional surgery. I wanted to hear the doctor’s diagnosis, so I was a little disappointed about that! It was also the only place that gave me an estimate for upper canthoplasty, and I understood it to some extent. However, I understood that medial canthoplasty also provides a little upper opening, and my intercanthal distance is slightly wide, so every hospital had mentioned medial canthoplasty. Here they recommended upper canthoplasty, so I was a little puzzled. It felt as if they had already decided on an answer and were telling me that. I did feel somewhat interested before hearing the estimate, but as soon as I heard it, my enthusiasm completely cooled. It is too expensive for my first surgery... I might have considered it if it were revision surgery. Oh, and it was good that they did not pressure me at all to pay a deposit.
